00:00:01 Today, we've got to fit a new bilge pump into the Boat Car!

00:08:15 We’re running out of time—only 4 days left until we start our Epic European Road and Water Trip! But we’ve hit some serious problems with the hydraulic pump system, and to top it all off, the weather hasn’t been on our side, causing massive delays. But we’re not giving up!

00:08:15 Let's dive into this week’s vlog and show you how we're overcoming these challenges. With just days to go before we hit the road (and water) we're sharing all the ups and downs of the prepping for our adventures.

00:14:15 Follow along as we tackle repairs, brave the crazy weather, and count down to our European expedition. Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel tips!

00:14:15 Okay, so in the last video, you saw that the Boat Car pump was being temperamental—starting and stopping. Obviously, you don’t want that happening in the water. Chris is currently working on it, cutting the cables to figure out the problem. The pump had been sitting unused for years before we got the car, so it’s no surprise we’re running into issues.

00:20:01 The good news? The pump is working... kind of! It’s noisy though, so we might need to replace it. We’ve also discovered some hydraulic system issues, so we're headed to a specialist in Mitcham (or somewhere else in London) to figure out what’s going on. Hopefully, it’s just a minor issue with the pressure gauge.

00:20:01 We’re getting everything sorted because safety is our priority—especially with the kids on board. We’ve got life jackets, life rings, torches, all the essentials. But I’ve got to admit, I’m still wondering if this thing is going to float after sitting for two years!

00:25:25 We’ll keep you guys posted on the repairs, and as soon as we get everything ready, we’ll do a water test before hitting the road. We’re also planning to pack and film everything, showing how we fit three kids, camera equipment, and travel essentials into the Boat Car.

00:25:25 Make sure to follow us on Instagram for live updates—we’ll announce where we are and if you’re in the area, come say hi or help us out if we’re in a pinch! Also, check out our series Cars Do Not Float on Instagram and TikTok, where we showcase awesome cars we come across during our travels.

00:31:05 Lastly, if you’ve got travel tips, especially if you’ve done a road trip in Europe, share them with us in the comments! We’d love to hear your experiences and any advice you have.

00:31:05 That’s it for today. We’ll see you in the next video—hopefully on the water by then! Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and comment. Peace out!
